What forms of payment does Gesture Apparels accept?

We accept payments using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in INR only.

When will I be charged?

If you are paying by credit card, once your debit card / credit card is authorized, payment will be taken immediately, and you will receive an email confirming that your order has been successful.

Will I have to pay duties and taxes?

For shipments to the India, there are no duties or taxes which are not included in the MRPs of the products. For shipments outside the India, orders may be subject to taxes, duties and customs fees, which may need to be paid upon delivery. Please note that the courier company will charge all import sales taxes, customs duties and handling charges separately for each country where and when they may apply.

What type of address do you deliver to? can you deliver to a postal box?

As all deliveries require a signature and may be subject to taxes, duties and customs fees to be paid upon delivery. We can only deliver to physical addresses and not to P.O. Boxes.

Is a signature required for delivery?

Yes, customers are required to sign or have someone sign on their behalf.

Do I need to register to place and order?

It is not mandatory to register to place an order! However, by creating an account with Gesture Jeans all your details will be saved and that will make your purchases easier and quicker. Using your login username & password, you don’t need to enter your address and other information, which will save you plenty of time. Your wish list will also store all the items which were added to help you manage your shopping.

My credit card payment was declined, what should I do?

This can happen for a number of reasons. If your card is not authorized, payment will not be taken, Try checking the card details you entered such as the card number, expiration date, and card type are correct and check that the billing address matches that listed with the card. Usually when a payment has not been authorized, the cardholder can call the issuer and discuss the matter, resulting with an authorized payment. If the problem persists, try entering the details of a different card. If you are still unable to process your payment, please contact us at sales@gesturejeans.com and we will be glad to assist you.

Is it safe to use my credit card online?

At Gesture Jeans we take the essential precautions to make our site secure. That’s why all credit card transactions on the website are processed using a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.

Can you deliver to a hotel or another address besides my home?

Yes, we can. If you’re shipping to a hotel or office, please put the hotel or office name in the address field as well as the recipient name, if applicable.

Can I send an item as a gift?

Yes! You can send an item as a gift.

Can I place an order by phone?

No, we don’t serve orders via telephonic conversations.

SHIPPING & HANDLING
CHARGES

The charges for shipping and handling for online shopping at GESTURE JEANS depends on the location to which you want your purchases to be sent. Free shipping is offered to only customers in India*. For customers outside India, international shipping charges as well as duties and taxes as applicable are payable by the customer.

TIME FRAME

The delivery time for an order depends on the order itself. The customer will get updates regarding their orders with the tracking details within 48 hours of the items being dispatched. Deliveries will take place between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm unless otherwise specified.

DELIVERY

Items will be sent to the address provided by you to the website. Make sure that you recheck the address before you confirm the order so as to avoid incorrect delivery. We prefer to deliver to office or residence addresses, we do not encourage delivery to P.O. boxes or any other destination where the recipient is not identifiable because of the risk involved due to the value of the goods.

Delivery dates are not guaranteed in the event of service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond the control of GESTURE JEANS. These interruptions include but are not limited to transportation system, customs clearance issues, shipping carrier or cardholder’s credit card bank delays.


RETURNS & EXCHANGE

Returns and Exchange of any product is only possible under the following conditions and by way of a credit note.

DAMAGED GOODS

We closely inspect every piece of merchandise that leaves our office. If you feel your merchandise is damaged, you must let us know within 5 working days of receipt. A full account credit will be applicable for damaged products. Items cannot be returned on grounds of color, choice or handwork.

WRONG ORDERS

If the item you received is not what you originally ordered, please write to us with your order number and name. We shall ship the merchandise you requested for as soon as we receive our wrongly sent merchandise in its original form and packaging.

HOW DOES IT WORK

Gesture returns and exchange policy gives you an option to return or exchange items purchased on Gesture for any reason within the specified return/exchange period (check product details page for the same). We only ask that you don’t use the product and preserve its original condition, tags, and packaging. You are welcome to try on a product but please take adequate measure to preserve its condition. There are two ways to return the product to us:

  1. Pick up: In most locations, we offer a free pick up service. You will see a pickup option when you submit a return request.
  2. Self-Ship: If we don’t offer a pick up at your location. In such cases, we will credit the shipping costs in the form of Gesture credits provided the product meets the return policy and you have shared scan copy of the courier receipt with us.

During Pick Up, our delivery agent may do a quality check on the return. For a successful pick up, we will initiate a doorstep refund for the return amount into the refund mode selected at the time of initiating the return request. This doorstep refund may not be applicable for some pin codes in which case refund will be initiated after the product has been received at our warehouse and has passed a quality check. If the picked-up product does not pass the quality check, we shall ship it back to you. If you choose to exchange the item for reason of mismatch of size or receipt of a defective item, you will be provided with a replacement of the item, free of cost. However, all exchanges are subject to stock availability and subject to your address being serviceable for an exchange. If you choose to exchange an item, our delivery representative will deliver the new item to you and simultaneously pick up the original item from you. Please note that we are only able to offer size exchanges. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative product, we suggest that you return it to obtain refund and purchase the new item separately.

TERMS OF RETURN & EXCHANGE
  • All items to be returned or exchanged must be unwashed and undamaged by you. GESTURE APPARELS will not incur shipping or insurance charges on merchandise that is cancelled. The merchandise is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. The cost of returning the merchandise to us is your responsibility.
  • The returned good must contain on labels, tag, receipt and other packaging with which the goods were sent to you. GESTURE APPARELS reserves the right to refuse return or exchange in case of missing packaging.
  • This amount will exclude shipping and handling charges.
  • The following EXCEPTIONS and RULES apply to this Policy:
    1. All items to be returned or exchanged must be unused and in their original condition with all original tags and packaging intact (for e.g. shoes must be packed in the original shoe box).
    2. Under Exchange Policy, only size exchanges are allowed. Items can be exchanged for a similar size or a different size. Exchanges are allowed only if your address is serviceable for an exchange by our Logistics team.
    3. In case you have purchased an item, which has a free gift/offer associated with it and you wish to return the main item, then you will have to return the free product as well
    4. Gesture will not be liable for the products returned by mistake. In circumstances where an extra or a different product is returned by mistake, Gesture would not be accountable for misplacement or replacement of the product and is not responsible for its delivery back to the User
    5. If you self-ship your returns, kindly pack the items securely to prevent any loss or damage during transit. For all self-shipped returns, we recommend you use a reliable courier service.
    6. If you self-ship your returns, your shipping costs would be reimbursed subject to your return having met our Returns and Exchange Policy and the image of the courier receipt is shared by you and validated by us. For self-ship returns the refund for returned products will only be initiated if they pass through a quality check conducted at the warehouse. If the quality check fails the product will be reshipped back to you.
CANCELLATIONS & MODIFICATIONS

You can cancel an order until it has not been packed in our Warehouse on Website/M-site. This includes items purchased on sale also. Any amount paid will be credited into the same payment mode using which the payment was made.
